Sunflowers have always been one of my three favorite flowers, and it’s easy to see why. They carry a rich tapestry of meaning — joy, loyalty, devotion, resilience, and the pursuit of light. They’re uplifting, hopeful, and endlessly inspiring. So of course I’m drawn to creating with them, and of course the Sunflower Fields DSP had my heart the moment I saw it.
As autumn approaches, pumpkins naturally come to mind. Pairing the Painted Pumpkins stamps and dies with sunflower imagery felt like the perfect seasonal blend — warm, joyful, and full of texture. This week’s project brings those favorites together in a rustic little scene where a wooden fence opens like a garden gate to reveal a pumpkin patch inside. The gatefold idea was inspired by another creator, and I loved adapting it to highlight these beautiful products and show how fun seasonal cardmaking can be.

- Gatefold Mechanism — The wooden fence opens like a little garden gate, revealing the pumpkin patch inside. This movement adds charm and surprise — and yes, it absolutely qualifies as a fun fold!
