Have you ever looked through your crafting supplies and rediscovered something you haven’t used in a long time? Maybe it’s a favorite die, a pretty ribbon, or a little piece of designer paper tucked away for just the right project.
Sometimes the best projects happen when we combine old favorites with something new!
I’m excited to introduce A Little Old, A Little New, a new feature where I’ll share handmade cards that bring yesterday’s favorite supplies together with today’s inspiring products.
The idea behind this series is simple: creativity isn’t about having all new crafting supplies. It’s also about seeing new possibilities in what you already have!
A Little Old, A Little New: My Fall Card

For this first project, I created a fall card combining supplies from my stash with current products and a few exciting new items.
I love how the circle opening, embossed background, fall-colored leaves, and touches of gold come together to create a card that feels just right for autumn.
Some of the supplies I’ve had for a while, while others are new or will be available soon. It’s a fun reminder that we don’t always need to start from scratch to create something fresh!
Would You Like to Make One?
I’ve put together a PDF tutorial with the supplies and step-by-step instructions to help you create this card.

You can follow the design as shown or make it your own by using supplies from your stash. Try different fall colors, substitute a favorite sentiment, or use leaf dies and punches you already own.
That’s part of the fun of papercrafting—taking an idea and making it uniquely yours!
Now It’s Your Turn!
Do you enjoy combining older crafting supplies with new products, or are you more likely to reach for the newest things in your stash?
I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
And if you make this card, please tag me or share a photo. I’d love to see what you create.
Happy crafting!
