Halloween is always a treat, but back to when my grandaughter was very young, it was extra sweet thanks to her adorable bee costume! 🐝 I couldn’t resist turning her photos into a two-page scrapbook layout that’s as playful and vibrant as she was that day.

The base of the layout features a graph-style DSP bordered in black, giving it a crisp, modern frame. Her photos are matted in black and Gorgeous Grape—because even bees deserve a splash of purple! I added layers of texture and whimsy with stamped honeycombs in Crushed Curry (using the retired March 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit), and perched handmade bees—crafted from the retired ladybug builder punch—right on top.

To tie it all together, I used the “Halloween” sticker from the Halloween Memories scrapbook workshop kit as the title. At the bottom of each page, I laid down strips of cardstock in yellow and black, black with white polka dots, and orange with white stars—each detailed with black marker and white gel pen for a hand-drawn touch.

Tiny stickers and stamped accents add just the right amount of sparkle. This layout is a celebration of creativity, color, and the joy of watching a little bee buzz through Halloween night.
