I look back to the time when I first began paper crafting. I started out scrapbooking and then soon fell in love with card making. In those days we met at someone’s house and crafted together. It wasn’t uncommon to share crafting supplies but most of the time if we wanted a die cut or something to embellish our scrapbook page or card we would rely on the Demonstrator to provide the item. We looked forward to hosting a class just so the demonstrator could show us new ideas and techniques. Those were the days!
But today all those lovely tools are available for purchase so that you can craft in the comfort of your home. There are also Demonstrators that are available to teach new ideas and ways to use those lovely tools. And guess what – you can learn from them in the comfort of your home. As a Demonstrator I am honored to share this card idea with you.
I will list what I used and how I made the card and you can re-create it. You may need to substitute becuase I used some items from my stash. Drum roll……..

What I used:
- A piece of Basic White cardstock that measure 4-¼” x 11” scored in half at 5-½”
- A piece of DSP from the “Paper Medley” that measures 3-7/8” x 5-⅝” https://www.stampinup.com/products/paper-medley-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-mix-in-designer-series-paper?demoid=2242482
- A piece of Basic White cardstock that measures 3-¾” x 5-¼” and is embossed in the Eyelet Embossing folder. That embossing folder has retired but the So Swirly Embossing folder would look good. Guess what this embossing folder is on the last chance list so it is on sale. https://www.stampinup.com/products/so-swirly-embossing-folder?demoid=2242482
- I also used the Sweet Jar Builder Punch as well as the the jar stamp from the stamp set. The stamp set has retired but the punch is on the last chance list and is on sale. https://www.stampinup.com/products/sweet-jar-builder-punch?demoid=2242482

- I used flower shapes from my stash
- I used the stamp set Reason To Celebrate to stamp “The Very Best day” https://www.stampinup.com/products/reason-to-celebrate-photopolymer-stamp-set-english?demoid=2242482
- I also used the Calypso Coral and Green strips from the June Paper Pumpkin – Bikes and Blooms.
- The twine I wrapped around the strips also came from the Paper Pumpkin.
