Today I’m sharing a bright and festive Bookbinding Fun Fold card made with supplies from the Pretty Party Kit and a few coordinating pieces from my craft room. This fold is simple, sturdy, and perfect for showing off the playful balloon patterns in the kit.

✨ Quick Measurements

  • Basic White Card Base — 4‑1/4″ x 11″, score at 4‑1/4″ and 5‑1/2″
  • Basic White Inside Layer — 3‑3/4″ x 3‑3/4″
  • Fresh Freesia Front Layer — 4‑1/8″ x 4‑1/8″
  • Fresh Freesia Side Strip — 3/4″ x 4‑1/4″
  • Fresh Freesia Inside Layer — 4″ x 4″
  • DSP or part of a card base from kit- Front Panel — 4″ x 4″
  • Scraps — Golden Glow + DSP for balloon die‑cuts
  • Ribbon — 9″

🪄 How to Make It

  1. Create the Fold
Fold the card base at 5‑1/2″, then fold back on the 4‑1/4″ score line to form the bookbinding spine.
  2. Add Layers
Adhere the Fresh Freesia layers and DSP panels to the front and side strip.
  3. Wrap the Ribbon
Tie ribbon around the card front before sealing the spine.
  4. Seal the Spine
Add Tear & Tape between the two score lines and press firmly to secure.
  5. Decorate

    • Stamp the sentiment from the Pretty Party Kit using Cajun Craze ink.
    • Add balloon die‑cuts using Golden Glow and coordinating DSP scraps.
    • Finish with the gold foil banner and gems from the kit.
    • Add the inside layers to complete the card.

💡 Why I like this Fun Fold
