There’s something magical about vellum — the way it softens color, adds texture, and creates layers that feel light and elegant. During my recent Facebook Live, I shared three projects featuring May’s Product of the Month: the Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty DSP. Each card highlights a different way to let vellum shine.
💌 The Projects
- Sending Lots of Love card — A diagonal design letting the DSP do the work.
- Wishing You Happiness card — Using the Spotlight on Nature dies to create a circular layout with vellum petals and a gold ribbon bow for a soft, layered look.
- Hello card — The card created live, featuring scalloped layers, translucent florals, and playful banners.
Each design uses vellum in a unique way — as a background, a focal layer, or a delicate accent. The result is a trio of cards that feel fresh, dimensional, and perfect for spring.
