In this week’s video, I shared how even the tiniest Designer Series Paper scraps can become bright, beautiful cards full of color and texture. 🌈

Using the Fun of Life DSP along with the Swirls of Magic embossing folder from our Online Exclusives, I added movement and sparkle to the background. To create those cheerful hearts, I reached for a retired favorite — the Country Bouquet Punch — proving that older tools still have plenty of life left in them!

For one sample, I swapped the embossing folder for a stencil, showing how you can achieve a similar look with different tools. To finish off both cards, I added a touch of shine with Basic Rhinestones.

And because scraps aren’t just for cards, I also shared a two‑page scrapbook layout built entirely from leftover DSP pieces. It’s a reminder that scraps can stretch across projects, adding unique color and texture wherever you use them.

Why Scraps Matter

In short, using smaller pieces of patterned paper or DSP is about efficiency, creativity, and versatility. It keeps your supplies fresh, your projects unique, and your waste minimal.
