This week a fun fold that has been popping up everywhere: the Double Vision Card. I’m not sure who originally designed this fold, but I’ve seen so many creative versions recently that I couldn’t resist trying it myself. And let me tell you — it’s a keeper.
What I love about this fold is how beautifully it showcases patterned paper, especially when you mix and match collections or use up leftover pieces. With the new catalog going live on May 5th, I’m in full “use the stash” mode, and this fold was the perfect opportunity.

🌸 Card 1 – Paper Pumpkin Remix
For this first card, I reached into my Paper Pumpkin bin and pulled out:
- A card front from a past Paper Pumpkin kit. I cut this card front to 3-3/4″ x 5″. Then I cut it into 1/2″ strips and adhered by altering the adhesive. The first strip adhered with liquid glue or stam & seal, and next on adhered to base layer with dimensional.
- Coordinating ephemera from another past kit
- Embellishments from my stash
I love how Paper Pumpkin elements from different months can work together so seamlessly. This card came together quickly and has such a cheerful, springy feel.

🌺 Card 2 – Lovely & Beautiful DSP
My second card uses a mix of current and retired favorites:
- Lovely & Beautiful DSP (current)
- Gold ribbon from a past Christmas suite
- Twine and embellishments from my stash
- Sentiment label + stamped sentiment from a past Paper Pumpkin
This one has a softer, more elegant vibe, and the Double Vision fold really lets the DSP shine.
✂️ Why You Should Try This Fold
If you’ve been wanting a project that:
- Uses up scraps
- Works with any DSP
- Looks impressive but is easy to assemble
- Encourages creativity with what you already have
…then this is the fold for you.
I hope these cards inspire you to CASE the design (Copy And Share with Everyone) and create your own version using what’s in your craft stash.
If you do, I’d love to see it — tag #FunfoldswithRPM me or leave a comment!
Happy crafting,
Rita
