This week’s Sketch Saturday Challenge is all about combining new and old.

I used this new sketch for me. I found it online and was interested because I am not familiar with Sea Glass Paper crafters. It was free so I felt challenged.
I also wanted to use some of the DSP I had in my stash. I pulled out a sheet of DSP from a previous package called  the Lovely Garden.B I added these Stampin Up supplies:
  • A card base A2 size from Basic White cardstock. Measurements- 8-1/2″ x5-1/2″ with 8-1/2″ side at top of trimmer I scored at 4-1/4″
  • A 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic Black cardstock
  • A 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of the DSP that looks like grid paper. This was adhered onto the piece of Basic Black that was adhered onto the front of the Basic White card base.
  • I used my Spotlight on Nature to cut a larger circle out of Basic Black cardstock and a slightly smaller circle die to cut a circle out of Basic White cardstock. I used my liquid multipurpose  glue to adhere the white circle onto the black circle.
  • I used the “Thank you ” stamp from the December 2025 Paper Pumpkin to stamp “Thank you ” on the Basic white circle.
  • With dimensionals I adhered the layered circle to the card front.
  • I made a pink double bow out of the new Bubble Bath ribbon and used glue dots to attach.
  • I fussy cut out a flower and leave from the back side of the DSP I used for the grid-like layer on the front of the card. I adhered this flower on the circles to embellish.

Here is what I created.
