This week\u2019s <\/span>Saturday Sketch<\/b> is all about festive layers, poinsettias, and holiday cheer!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m sharing my version of the sketch, complete with supply details and measurements so you can recreate it at home.<\/span><\/p>\n

Layout Highlights<\/b><\/h2>\n

\u2728 A bold <\/span>NOEL tag<\/b> anchors the design. For the word NOEL<\/strong> I used the Festive Cheers dies (168133) and Real Red cardstock ( 102482). Layerd that on some Green Timeless Metallic Specility Paper (168548) <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2728 Poinsettias, holly, cut with the Pretty Poinsettia dies 9168146) and pine sprigs cut from Festive Cheers dies, add dimension and festive flair.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2728 Splatter stamping using the Frosted Pinecones stamp set (168369), creates subtle background<\/span> texture.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2728 A Stiched Season DSP creates the side bars and creates the feel of a festive season.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2728 Layered photo mats make your holiday memories pop.<\/span><\/p>\n

This layout is perfect for showcasing two favorite holiday photos while keeping the design balanced and stash\u2011friendly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Measurements:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • A 12″ x 12″ sheet of DSP that is basically Real Red. I used some from my stash.<\/li>\n
  • A 11″ x 11-1\/2″ sheet of Basic White Cardstock (166782). The 11-1\/2″ allows slanting the Basic White on the DSP.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A 2-3\/4″ x 11″ strip of the “A Stiched Season” DSP. Then tear toward you.<\/li>\n
  • 1-1\/2″ x 11″ coordinating DSP. Tuck this strip under the other strip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \ud83d\udca1 Crafting Tip<\/strong>: When layering poinsettias, curl the petals slightly with a bone folder for extra dimension.<\/span><\/p>\n
