This project is more than just cozy fall layers: it features what I call the <\/span><b>Center Pop\u2011Up Fun Fold<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an interactive design that adds surprise and dimension while still being stash\u2011friendly and easy to recreate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2906\" src=\"https:\/\/thepapermotif.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/IMG_2725-821x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"821\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>\u2702\ufe0f Step\u2011by\u2011Step Instructions<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Card base<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Started with a half sheet of <\/span><b>Basic White cardstock<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (8\u20111\/2&#8243; x 5\u20111\/2&#8243;), scored at 4\u20111\/4&#8243;.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Frame layer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Cut a 4&#8243; x 5\u20111\/4&#8243; piece of <\/span><b>Painted Patch DSP<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. From the center, trim out a rectangle leaving a 3\/4&#8243; margin all around.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Layered rectangle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Mount the cut\u2011out rectangle (approx. 2&#8243; x 3&#8243;) onto <\/span><b>Cajun Craze cardstock<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> measuring 2\u20111\/8&#8243; x 3\u20111\/8&#8243;. (I turned the rectangle to the opposite site of the cut out rectangle for interest)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Front panel<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Adhere a full 4&#8243; x 5\u20111\/4&#8243; DSP panel to the card base, then layer the framed DSP piece on top.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Center accent<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Add the smaller rectangle back into the center for a dimensional, window\u2011style look.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Pumpkin details<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Die\u2011cut pumpkins from the DSP using the <\/span><b>Painted Pumpkin Dies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and arrange them around the focal point.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>\ud83c\udfa8 Design Notes<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>framed DSP technique<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> creates depth without extra bulk.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using <\/span><b>Cajun Craze<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> cardstock adds warmth and contrast to the lighter DSP.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Center Pop\u2011Up Fun Fold<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> makes the card interactive and memorable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>pumpkin die\u2011cuts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tie the whole design together with seasonal charm.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>\ud83c\udf1f Why You\u2019ll Love This Project<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This card is stash\u2011friendly, quick to assemble, and perfect for fall greetings.
