Today I\u2019m sharing a bright and festive <\/span>Bookbinding Fun Fold<\/b> card made with supplies from the <\/span>Pretty Party Kit<\/b> and a few coordinating pieces from my craft room. This fold is simple, sturdy, and perfect for showing off the playful balloon patterns in the kit.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Basic White Card Base<\/b> \u2014 4\u20111\/4″ x 11″, score at 4\u20111\/4″ and 5\u20111\/2″<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Basic White Inside Layer<\/b> \u2014 3\u20113\/4″ x 3\u20113\/4″<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Fresh Freesia Front Layer<\/b> \u2014 4\u20111\/8″ x 4\u20111\/8″<\/span><\/li>\n

    1. Create the Fold<\/b>
      \n<\/b> Fold the card base at 5\u20111\/2″, then fold back on the 4\u20111\/4″ score line to form the bookbinding spine.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Add Layers<\/b>
      \n<\/b> Adhere the Fresh Freesia layers and DSP panels to the front and side strip.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Wrap the Ribbon<\/b>
      \n<\/b> Tie ribbon around the card front before sealing the spine.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Seal the Spine<\/b>
      \n<\/b> Add Tear & Tape between the two score lines and press firmly to secure.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Decorate<\/b>\n

      • Stamp the sentiment from the Pretty Party Kit using Cajun Craze ink.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Add balloon die\u2011cuts using Golden Glow and coordinating DSP scraps.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Finish with the gold foil banner and gems from the kit.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Add the inside layers to complete the card.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
