This week a fun fold that has been popping up everywhere: the <\/span>Double Vision Card<\/b>. I\u2019m not sure who originally designed this fold, but I\u2019ve seen so many creative versions recently that I couldn\u2019t resist trying it myself. And let me tell you \u2014 it\u2019s a keeper.<\/span><\/p>\n

What I love about this fold is how beautifully it showcases patterned paper, especially when you mix and match collections or use up leftover pieces. With the new catalog going live on <\/span>May 5th<\/b>, I\u2019m in full \u201cuse the stash\u201d mode, and this fold was the perfect opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf38 Card 1 \u2013 Paper Pumpkin Remix<\/b><\/h2>\n

For this first card, I reached into my Paper Pumpkin bin and pulled out:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • A card front from a past Paper Pumpkin kit. I cut this card front to 3-3\/4″ x 5″. Then I cut it into 1\/2″ strips and adhered by altering the adhesive. The first strip adhered with liquid glue or stam & seal, and next on adhered to base layer with dimensional.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Coordinating ephemera from another past kit<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Embellishments from my stash<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    I love how Paper Pumpkin elements from different months can work together so seamlessly. This card came together quickly and has such a cheerful, springy feel.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \ud83c\udf3a Card 2 \u2013 Lovely & Beautiful DSP<\/b><\/h2>\n

    My second card uses a mix of current and retired favorites:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Lovely & Beautiful DSP<\/b> (current)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Gold ribbon from a past Christmas suite<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Twine and embellishments from my stash<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Sentiment label + stamped sentiment from a past Paper Pumpkin<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This one has a softer, more elegant vibe, and the Double Vision fold really lets the DSP shine.<\/span><\/p>\n
