Each project begins with the original kit design and then expands into\u00a0 variations using supplies from my craft space. I hope that whether you\u2019re new to card making or a seasoned crafter, you\u2019ll find inspiration, tips, and easy\u2011to\u2011follow ideas to spark your creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>This Card Creation:\u00a0 Kindness in Full Bloom<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2521\" src=\"https:\/\/thepapermotif.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/IMG_2002-699x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"699\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><b>Supplies Used<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 4-1\/4\u201d x 11\u201d Piece of Basic White cardstock. Score at 5-\u00bd\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cut out the roses from one of the card bases in the kit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 4\u201d x 5-\u00bc\u201d layer of Garden Green cardstock<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The back of the card that the\u00a0 roses were cut from cut to 3-\u00be\u201d x 5\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Small white butterfly from kit. (opt)<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Brushed Brass Butterflies &#8211; they are on the last chance list<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3\u201d x 1-\u00bc\u201d Basic White strip for sentiment (\u201cThanks for being you\u201d)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Garden Green ink from kit<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Gold Striped 3\/8&#8243; (1 CM) Mesh Ribbon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>How I Created This Card<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>I Cut, scored and folded my card base out of Basic White cardstock.<\/li>\n<li>I cut the soft pastel green card base with the pink blooms in half.<\/li>\n<li>I cut the blooms including the leaves out of the card half.<\/li>\n<li>Then I cut the back of that same card base to 3-3\/4&#8243; x 5&#8243; which will become a layer that the blooms will sit on.<\/li>\n<li>Out of Garden Green cardstock (one of the coordination colors as per illustrated instructions), that measured 4&#8243; x 5-1\/4&#8243;. This is the bottom layer and can be adhered to the front of the white top folding card base.<\/li>\n<li>Then adhere the soft green layer onto the Garden Green layer.<\/li>\n<li>I looped some of the\u00a0Gold Striped 3\/8&#8243; (1 CM) mesh ribbon behind the cut out blooms.<\/li>\n<li>Using dimensionals the blooms are adhered on the soft green layer.<\/li>\n<li>Using Garden Green ink the sentiment &#8220;Thanks for being you was stamped on the <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3\u201d x 1-\u00bc\u201d Basic White strip.
