The idea was shared by Julie DiMatteo so thanks Julie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I like the fact that the cardstock and DSP can easily be changed and can become appropriate for the desired occasion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Stampin\u201d Up Supplies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 5-\u215d\u201d x 10-3\/16\u201d piese of Darling Duckling cardstock. With long side facing upward in Paper trimmer score at 1-\u00bd\u201d,1-\u00be\u201d, 5-\u215e\u201d flip to opposite side score at 6-\u215c\u201d flip and score at 6-\u215d\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0A 2\u201d x 5-\u215d\u201d Darling Duckling cardstock. With 5-\u215c\u201d facing upward score 1\u201d on both sides.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A \u00be\u201d x 1-\u215e\u201d piece of Darling Duckling. With long side facing upward score at \u215c\u201d on each side.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 3\u201d x 5\u201d piece of coordinating Designer Series Paper.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 1-\u00bc\u201d x 5\u201d piece of Designer Series Paper<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 2-3\/4\u201d circle cut out of Darling Duckling<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 2\u201d circle punched out of Basics White cardstock<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liquid Multipurpose glue<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tear &amp; Tape<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A small note pad that measures 3\u201d x 5\u201d- I got mine at WalMart<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now that the 5-\u215d\u201d x 10-3\/16\u201d piece of card stock has been scored crisp up the fold line. Be sure when you&#8217;re folding on score lines to fold the first three lines to create a mountain fold. Then the fourth score line is folded to create a valley fold. The fifth scoreline is a mountain fold again.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place tear &amp; tape on the back of the third fold and adhere to the panel. The flat part that was created will become where the pen will live.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fold the score lines on the 2\u201d x 5-\u215d\u201d This will become the strip that secures the note pad. The end panels created by the folds can be adhered to inside. The cardboard part of the note pad can be inserted and this will secure the note pad.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crisp up the score lines on the \u00be\u201d x 1-\u215e\u201d strip. This will become what secures the pen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place some glue on one of the folded ends of the \u00be\u201d x 1-\u215e\u201d strip. Then adhere the loop about a \u00bc\u00a0 of the way down on the flat part you have created to the left of the base.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere the 3\u201d x 5\u201d piece of DSP to the front of the base.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere the 1-\u00bc\u201d x 5\u201d strip of DSP to the more narrow panel on the right of the base.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then stamp your sentiment on the Basic White 2\u201d circle.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere the white circle onto the 2-\u00be\u201d circle.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Turn the Bigger circle over and apply glue to the far right.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere a velcro circle to the left of that same circle the flip back over and the glued part of the circle will adhere the circle to the more narrow panel and the velcro dot will become the closure.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2278 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/thepapermotif.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/IMG_1278-1024x944.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"168\" height=\"155\" \/><\/p>\n<h5>Inside of the note pad.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This mini note pad is a great idea to make and give as a gift.
