It&#8217;s no surprise that I would like this mini slimline. Often I like to customize the envelopes I send my slimline cards in.\u00a0 Below is a list of materials needed to recreate the slimline and an envelope.<\/em><\/h6>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1795 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thepapermotif.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_8819-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"165\" height=\"128\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><strong>You will need:<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Two pieces of Basic White cardstock that neasire 1-1\/2&#8243; x 3&#8243;<\/li>\n<li>A 2-1\/2&#8243; x 2&#8243; piece of DSP Your choice- I used Countryside Ibb.<\/li>\n<li>A 2-1\/2&#8243; x 3&#8243; of Basic White cardstock.<\/li>\n<li>A 3&#8243; x 6&#8243; piece of cardstock. I used Night of Navy.<\/li>\n<li>A 2-3\/4&#8243; x 8&#8243; coordinating cardstock . Score at 3&#8243;. I used Misty Moonlight<\/li>\n<li>A 2-1\/2&#8243; x 5-1\/4&#8243; piece of coordinating DSP. I used Countryside inn.<\/li>\n<li>Night of Navy Ink.<\/li>\n<li>Scraps of Night of Navy\u00a0 so you can die cut flowere<\/li>\n<li>Scraps of the DSP or BoHo cardstock so that youu cant cut flowere<\/li>\n<li>Glue Dots<\/li>\n<li>Take a pick tool.<\/li>\n<li>Paper trimmer<\/li>\n<li>Bonefolder<\/li>\n<li>Liquid Glue<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Country Birdhouse&#8221; stamp set and dies<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Simply Said&#8221;stamp set<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Happy Little Things&#8221; stamp set.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>For the\u00a0 envelope you need:<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>A piece of cardstock, DSP or even printer paper that measures 7-1\/2&#8243; x 8-1\/2&#8243;.<\/li>\n<li>A score board ot trimmer.<\/li>\n<li>Bone folder.<\/li>\n<li>Pencil &#8211; opt<\/li>\n<li>Tear &amp; Tape<\/li>\n<li>Scissors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>To make the envelope<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut your cardstock, DSP, vellum or printer paper to 7-1\/2&#8243; x 8-1\/2&#8243;.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0With the 7-1\/2&#8243; side facing upward on your printer or Simply Scored score at 2-3\/8&#8243;<br \/>\nand at\u00a0 5-1\/2&#8243; (Template indicates 2&#8243; and 5-1\/2 score lines but you need to score at 2-3\/8 and 5-1\/2).<\/li>\n<li>Rotate so that the 8-1\/2&#8243; side is facing upward\u00a0 and score at 1-1\/2&#8243; and at 7-3\/4&#8243;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1799\" src=\"https:\/\/thepapermotif.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_8823.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"251\" height=\"238\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fold on score lines and crisp those folds with your bone folder.<\/li>\n<li>Then cut out the corner rectangles made by score lines. see template. The part you cut out is marked by<br \/>\n<h5><strong>X<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1798\" src=\"https:\/\/thepapermotif.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_8824.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"204\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The 7-1\/2&#8243; side is the top and will become the top\/opening\u00a0 of your envelope.<\/li>\n<li>The 8-1\/2 side will be the sides of your envelope. Fold these sides towardss the middle. One side will overlap. then on the\u00a0 side that doesn&#8217;t overlap place tear &amp; tape.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the release paper and adhere.<\/li>\n<li>On the smallest tab that is at the bottom\u00a0 place a strip of tear &amp; taoe.
