You can also make a treat jar like this by following the directions below. Feel free to change the embellishments for a cat if you want.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What you will need:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A jar with lid. If you have an empty jar in your pantry like I did, you can use that jar. If you need a jar remember that most Dollar Stores have the Kerr type jars in different sizes. You could even use the large size peanut butter jars- just wash them good anfd remove the label.<\/li>\n<li>Pet stickers to embellish. I carry a great stamp set in my online store that will help you label and decorate the jar.(Christmas Scottie #159744)<\/li>\n<li>Fabric or Designer Series Paper that you can cover the lid with.<\/li>\n<li>A tag. You can use a pre-made one like I did from the Dollar Store or use any label punch or die from your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Pet treats. You can use store bought treats or you can make you own. I have included a recipe below.<\/li>\n<li>Adheasive to adhere the jar lid cover and possibly embellishments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>** I printed a picture of my dog for the front of the jar. I took the picture with my phone and printed it with my HP Sprocket Printer.**<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Easy Peanut Butter Pumpkin Dog Treats<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I found this recipe on line a few years ago and do not remember who posted the recipe. I think it was from Cully&#8217;s Kitchen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bc cup\u00a0peanut butter<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 cup\u00a0pumpkin puree<\/li>\n<li>2\u00a0large eggs<\/li>\n<li>3 cups whole wheat flour (plus\u00a0\u00bc\u00a0extra on standby if needed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350F.<\/li>\n<li>Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.o apply a good coverage of cooking spray.<\/li>\n<li>Place the eggs, peanut butter, and pumpkin in a stand mixer bowl fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix on medium high until well combined (about 2-3 minutes). Reduce mixer speed to low and add the flour a \u00bc cup at a time until dough is no longer sticky-add more flour if needed. Dough will separate from the sides of the bowl when ready.<\/li>\n<li>Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead by hand until dough comes together (If your dough is to sticky add a little more flour at this time).<\/li>\n<li>Using a rolling pin roll dough out to a \u00bc inch thickness and cut using a cookie cutter into the shapes you want; place on baking sheet. ( I used a cookie cuter that is bone shaped.)<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 25 minutes or until edges start to brown.
