Celebrate Spring.

Fresh inspiration from February’s kit — and why you’ll want to subscribe for next month’s magic.

There’s something extra joyful about opening a new Paper Pumpkin box — the colors, the artwork, the precut pieces, the promise of creativity tucked into every envelope. Even though the subscription window for this particular kit has closed, I still love sharing what I made with it because Paper Pumpkin is about more than one month’s designs. It’s about having a creative moment waiting for you, all prepped and ready, whenever you need it.

Febrauy’s kit was packed with soft pastels, sweet spring icons, and the kind of whimsical details that make handmade cards feel extra special. I created three cards using only the supplies from the kit, and I’m excited to show you how each one came together.

🐰 Card 1: “Hello Spring” Bunny Window Card

This card is pure sunshine — a peek‑through window framed with florals and a sweet little bunny welcoming the season.

How I made it:

  • I started with a Basic White card base and added a layer of Peach Pie cardstock.
  • I then on a  3-3/4″ x 5″ piece  of a printed card base I added the floral frame die‑cut on top.
  • I used an oval die from my stash and cut a window in the middle of this printed card base.
  • The bunny is one of the precut pieces from the kit — no stamping or fussy cutting needed.
  • I popped him up with dimensionals so he sits right inside the window.
  • The “Hello Spring” banner tucks perfectly along the bottom edge.
  • A few sequins add just the right sparkle.

🐑 Card 2: “Hello Friend” Sheep & Flowers Card

This one might be my favorite — soft blues, cheerful florals, and the sweetest little sheep.

How I made it:

  • I layered a 4” x 5-¼” piece of blue plaid to the front of an A2 Basic White card base
  • I layered on top of these layers a 3-¾” x 5” piece of the floral card base in the kit..
  • The sheep is made by using  the Wooly Friend Builder Punch — I punched out the pieces, adhered them together. I added dimensionals to give him a little lift.
  • The “Hello Friend” sentiment panel fits beautifully in the top corner.
  • A Balmy Blue Gingham bow (166952) finishes the card with a cozy, handmade touch.
  • A few gems in the flower centers bring everything to life.

🧺 Card 3: Basket of Easter Eggs Card

Soft colors, daffodils, and a basket full of patterned eggs with a little chocolate bunny tucked in — this card is springtime in paper form.

🌼 I Am Sharing This Kit That’s No Longer Available?

Because Paper Pumpkin is a creative experience, not just a one‑time kit.
Every month brings:

  • A fresh theme
  • Coordinating colors
  • Precut pieces
  • Exclusive stamps
  • A moment of joy delivered to your mailbox

Even when a specific kit has passed, the inspiration lives on — and it gives you a glimpse of what future months can bring.

If these cards made you smile or sparked an idea, you might love having Paper Pumpkin arrive on your doorstep each month. It’s creativity made simple, and it’s one of my favorite ways to stay inspired.
