Welcome to my Kit Together series, today I am exploring a creative way to use this Butterfly Garden card kit to make meaningful, handmade cards. This project begins with the original kit design and then expands into fun fold using supplies from my craft space. Whether you’re new to card making or a seasoned crafter, you’ll find inspiration, tips, and easy‑to‑follow ideas to spark your creativity.

Today’s Project: Butterfly Flap Fold

 

Measurements:

  • 8-½” x 5-½” piece of Basic White Cardstock scored at 4-¼”
  • A 3-¾” x 5” piece of Basic White. This is 2nd layer for insert.
  • Blue & White card front cut to 4” x 5-¼” will be the first layer.
  • The Back (Blue) of the card Base cut to 4” x 5-¼” for a layer on inside card
  • 1” x 4-¼” strip of Basic White scored at 1” Holds the flap
  • Yellow Pastel envelope
  • Monarch Butterflies
  • White dots
  • Sentiment Sending Smiles from Lovely Arrangements stamp set
