I found this card sketch and thought it could inspire me in creating an alternative card using the contents of the December 2025 Paper Pumpkin named Watercolor In Bloom.
Of course I had to edit the measurements of this card sketch to create an A2 card. I used an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of card stock and with the 8-1/2″ side at the top of my Trimmer I scored at 4-1/4″.
I then cut one of the card bases in the paper pumpkin to 3-3/4″ x 5″ and layered that on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock. These layers were then adhered to the Pretty Peacock card base.
I used the Basic White strip that has leaves on each of the long sides, and trimmed it so the length was 5″. I used this strip as the layer used in the sketch.
Then I cut a 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ square out of Pretty Peacock card stock. I also cut a 2″ x2″ piece of Basic White card stock. On this white square I stamped my sentiment using the stamp set included in the paper pumpkin. With dimensionals this layered square was adhered to the front of the card. I used some of the ephemera to decorate the card.
My finished card and envelope below.
